Adalade Damrell Malone -- Born April 21, 1910 in Mobile, AL, and a resident of Fairhope since 1933 died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at her home in Fairhope. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.E. 'Bill' Malone, parents Frances Sirmon Damrell and Kenneth Earle Damrell, and sister, Leanora D. Niemeyer. She is survived by her daughter, Sunny Malone Corte of Fairhope, AL, and son J. Earle (Paula) Malone of Montrose, AL; four grandchildren, Albert 'Trae' (Kathleen) Corte III of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Krislyn D. Corte of Panama City, FL, Matthew D. (Nichole) Malone, and Andrew M. (Melanie) Malone; three great-grandchildren, Samuel McMurray Malone, Matthew Benjamin Malone, and Jane Aley Godwin, all of Fairhope, AL; two nephews, Carlton G. Niemeyer of Fairhope, AL, and Kenneth E. Niemeyer of Pt. Clear, AL, and one niece, Jerol McLean Gardner of Orlando, FL. A graveside memorial service was held Friday, March 26, 2004 at Montrose Cemetery with Pastor Bill McMurray of Grace Fellowship Church officiating. The family requests memorials be made to the Fairhope Public Library Building Fund or Grace Fellowship Church, 1993 County Rd. 33, Fairhope, AL 36532. Arrangements are by: WOLFE FUNERAL HOME 329 SO.
