Mrs. Anna M. Jurgens, 323 W. Reynolds St., will observe her 90th birthday anniversary at her home tomorrow. She was born in Springfield and has resided here most of her life.
On Nov. 26, 1876, she was married to J. H. Jurgens, of Petersburg, and the couple had 14 children, 11 of whom are still living. She has seven daughters, Mrs. Onie Melkush, Mrs. Nettie Weiskopf, Mrs. Grace Kutscher, Mrs. Nellie Thornburgh, Mrs. Edward Benner and Mrs. Irvan Delaney, all of Springfield, and Mrs. Jake Benedict, of Peoria; four sons, Ricke [sic] Jurgens, Arthur Jurgens, William Jurgens and Jerry Jurgens.
Mrs. Jurgens also has 27 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Her children are planning a potluck dinner at home Saturday evening.
