Nellie F. Thornburgh, 95, of Springfield died at 10:28 a.m. Wednesday at Doctors Hospital. She was born March 6, 1895, in Springfield, the daughter of Jurgen H. and Anna Hickman Jurgens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Thornburgh, in 1934. She also was preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters.

She was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Quilters Association at the church and Flower City Chapter 152 Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a son, Robert R. of Springfield; a daughter, Eleanor E. Baker of Springfield; two grandsons; a granddaughter; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: St. John's Lutheran Church, Rev. Peter Thomson officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
