Joseph Naidl, 87, of route 1, Whitelaw, county resident for over 85 years, died Sunday night at the Holy Family hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 10 o'clock at the St. Augstine's Catholic
church, Reifs Mills, the Rev. Joseph Rauch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born in Bohemia in 1860 and when a child accompanied his parents to this county. They located on a farm in Franklin. In 1886 he married
Miss Mary Svatek, and they located on a farm north of Whitelaw. Mrs. Naidl died 17 years ago.
Survivors are two sons, John of this city and Edward on the home farm; four daughters, Mrs. George Oswald of this city, Mrs. John Stodola of
Stangelville and Mrs. Joseph Shavlik and Mrs. Frank Hynek of Kellners-ville; sister, Mrs. Anna Matejovetz of Reifs Mills; brother, Jacob of
this city; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
