She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Anna Pape; her husband James A. Dutschke; a sister Catherine Hardesty, and a brother Lloyd Pape.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Nancy Ann Hansford (Ronald), a son Thomas Lloyd Dutschke (Dawn), four grandchildren Ashley and Jessica Dutschke (Josh) and Joshua and David Hansford; two great-grandchildren Destiny and Cameron; and two nephews.

Doris was a member of Shively Christian Church. She retired as a bookkeeper for Lumbermans Wholesales Service, Inc. Doris, aka Mimi, D.P., Merv, etc., was a unique and special lady whose kindness, generosity and sense of humor touched the lives of many. Even though we will miss her every day, we believe that she is, at this moment, better than she has ever been.

Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 11a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

The family would like to thank John and Jennifer Beckman and the staff at Wesley Manor for the loving care they showed our mother.

Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville, or the American Heart Association.
