Mrs. Barbara Baumann, one of the countys pioneer residents, passed at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Delsman, Sr., N. Ninth Street. Mrs. Baumann, nee Barbara Shanda, a native of Bohemia, came to America when a girl of eight years and was married in 1865 to George Baumann who preceded her in death some years ago. For seven years, she had made her home with her daughter who, with three other children, all sons, survive her. They are Michael and George at Kossuth and Joseph at Franklin. There are 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also
surviving.
For many years the Baumann family resided in Franklin but after death of her husband Mrs. Baumann came to the city. Funeral services will be held at 10 oclock Tuesday morning from St. Augustine church at Reifs Mills...
