William Hamilton

William Hamilton, aged 83 years, died Sunday afternoon at 4:50 o'clock at the home of his son, Lee Hamilton, 230 Normal avenue, Slippery Rock, after an extended illness. The deceased spent most of his life in Plaingrove township and was a member of the Plaingrove U. P. church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Claypoole of Worthington, Mrs. Clifford Pearce, Slippery Rock, and Mrs. Leslie Book, Plaingrove; one son, Lee Hamilton, Slippery Rock; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Uber & Son funeral home, Slippery Rock, with Rev. J. C. Fulton of Portersville officiating. Interment will take place in Plaingrove cemetery. Friends are being received at the funeral home this afternoon from 2 to 4 o'clock and this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
