Mr. Anthony F. Balzan, Sr., age 78, of 1221 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died Thursday, February 8. 1996, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will beheld at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 1996, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald Foley will officiate with entombment in Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
Anthony was born November 6, 1917, in Marblehead, Wis., son of the late Dominic and Angeline Testolin Balzan. He married Marcella R. Karbon September 28, 1946, in Cooperstown. Mr. Balzan served in the United States Army during World War II. He served overseas in the European Theater of War and Middle Eastern Theater of War. He was a member of Kumbale-O'Connor VFW Post #6179. He was a long-time employee of Imperial Eastman Company retiring in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Marcella; four children, (private); two brothers, Evo Balzan, Manitowoc, Alex Balzan, Florida; a sister-in-law, Norma Balzan, Plymouth; eight grandchildren. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, three sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law.
Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
