Elmer (Butch) Heinrichs Jr., age 53 of 9919 Polifka Road, Whitelaw, died Saturday morning, July 6, 1996 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 1996 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Rev. John Conrad will officiate with burial to follow at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Whitelaw.
He was born December 11, 1942 at Manitowoc, son of Elmer and Louise Leschke Heinrichs Sr. He attended Manitowoc area schools and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1960. Elmer owned and operated Butch’s Body Shop, Polifka Corners for a number of years. Since 1987, he has worked at Burger Boat Company, Manitowoc. He enjoyed working on his two restored Chryslers. He married Helen L. Wachowski December 1, 1962, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; one son, Bruce Heinrichs, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dave Witak, rural Kellnersville; two grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Witak; his parents, Elmer and Louise Henrichs Sr., Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Brian in 1977.
Relatives and friends may call at Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville, from 5-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30. There will be a prayer service held at 7:30 p.m. this Monday evening.
