Marion K. Jagemann, age 93, a resident of Kindred Hearts, Manitowoc, died on Friday morning, Jan. 8, 2010, at Kindred Hearts.
Marion was born on March 12, 1916, in Cato, daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Yohanek) Reitmeyer. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, class of 1933. On Nov. 8, 1986, she married Raymond C. Jagemann at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1989. Marion was employed at Mirro Corporation in the office from 1955 until her retirement in 1981.
Survivors include one daughter: Eunice Wotruba, Manitowoc; two grandsons: David and Melissa Wotruba, Tomahawk; Dean and Kathy Wotruba, Chicago; four great grandchildren: Noah, Jacob, Ashley and Autumn; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Daisy Brennan, Manitowoc, Leonetta and Mitch Silver, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law: George and Betty Reitmeyer, Manitowoc; Carl and Ruth Reitmeyer, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Marion was also preceded in death by three sisters and brothers-in-law: Ella and Clarence Sittman; Alma and Clarence Carbon; Olive and John Grall; one brother and sister-in-law: Joseph and Mayme Reitmeyer; one son-in-law: Fred "Fritz" Wotruba on December 27, 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial to follow at St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery in Whitelaw.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The visitation will continue on Wednesday morning at The Pfeffer Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the morning prayer service at 10 a.m.
