Son of the late Jake and Sallie Goode McCluney; retired lineman for Lockhart Power Mill after 30 years of service; World War II veteran; member of Cystal Masonic Lodge No. 161, Union.
Also surviving: sons, Bobby and Charles McCluney of Sharon; sisters, Miss Mary McCluney, Mrs. Pinkie Bell Thompson, Mrs. Azalee Robbins of Sharon, Mrs. Louise Brown of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Viola Pendergrass of Charlotte; four grandchildren.
Services 3 today at Mt. Hopewell Baptist Church by the Rev. Daniel Chisholm; burial church cemetery.
