VERONICA (VERNA) BRIXIUS
Veronica (Verna) Brixius, 80, of Manitowoc, who resided at North Ridge Care Center, died Monday evening, August 31, 1992, at North Ridge Care Center. Private family services were held Wednesday at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum.
The former Veronica Gasparick was born July 22, 1912, at Vulcan, Mich., daughter of the late George and Mary Panek Koish Gasparick. She came to Manitowoc as a young girl residing here since. Mrs. Brixius was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Howard Wigen and Delores and Leroy Staudt all of Manitowoc; a brother, Emil Koish of Hermansville, Mich.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home of Manitowoc assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
