The War Memorial in front of the former Royal Hibernian Military School (now St. Mary's Hospital) commemorates the names of 82 former pupils of the school who died in World War 1.
The Monument was unveiled on 5 July 1921.

The names and rank stated are exactly as on the monument.
There are some differences between this list and the name and/or rank recorded on a headstone, or in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission lists.

At the end of this list, there are further names of pupils, or others, who had a connection to the school.

from Chapelizod, who died in March 1919
At the time of his birth in 1885, his father Christopher Martin was a Gardener at the School.

who won a Victoria Cross in WW1.
