ERMA DEROSIER

Erma DeRosier, age 76, of 2019 13th St., Two Rivers, entered into eternal life on Saturday evening, Nov. 22, 2003 at the home of her daughter in Green Bay. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels in Two Rivers, with the Rev. Jim Rasmus officiating, with entombment to follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum, Hwy, 310, Manitowoc.

Erma was born Jan. 19, 1927 in Lena, to the late Otto and Bertha Schroeder Behnke. She married Cyril G. DeRosier in Two Rivers. She worked for Paragon Electric for 25 years as an electric motor assembler. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary #1248.

Survivors include her husband: Cyril; three sons and daughters-in-law: Dave and Sandy DeRosier of Two Rivers; Allen and Nancy DeRosier of O'Fallon, Ill.; Steve and Debbie DeRosier of Pewaukee; two daughters and one son-in-law: Patricia and Patrick Hein of Green Bay; and Debra DeRosier of Sacramento, Calif. She is further survived by eight grandchildren: Laura Hein, Michael Hein, Chris DeRosier, Kimberly DeRosier, Scott DeRosier, Douglas DeRosier, Brian DeRosier and Jennifer Vandei Hei; a sister: Verona Mueller of Lena; three sisters-in-law: Lois Behnke of Marinette; Lorraine Behnke of Coleman; and Marilyn Behnke of Fullerton, Calif.; and by her brothers-in-law: Don and (Delores) Rabe of Suprise, Ariz.; Rollie DeRosier of New Berlin; and Eugene DeRosier of Petosi, Mo.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers: George, Ferd, Carl, Norman and Donald Behnke; and by seven sisters: Augusta Behnke, Othelia Schoenfeldt, Ella Behnke, Lillian Denneau, Hulda Behnke, Elenor LaPlant and Lorna Behnke.

Erma and her husband Jerry, spent many vacations and summers at their cottage at Trump Lake, Wabeno. Erma loved preparing special meals for the family get-togethers and was a wonderful baker. At Christmas everyone looked forward to her delicious home made candies, cookies and bars. When her grandchildren visited she would send them home with an ice cream pail of chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed knitting and embroidering gifts for the family. We will miss her forever. Her love and memory fills our hearts.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday after noon at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels in Two Rivers until the time of service at 2 p.m.
