AMERICUS -- Albert Prince of 102 Bill Cross St., Americus, Georgia died on Friday, March 28,2003 in the Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 1, 2003 at 2 p.m. Elder Roosevelt Kinder will officiate and burial will follow in the Eastview cemetery.
Albert Prince was born in Sumter County, Georgia on March 22, 1915 to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie Prince and the late Mrs. Roxie Gould Prince.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving an devoted wife of 65 years, Ms. Eula Mae Prince; eight sons, Mr. Albert Prince, Jr. Mr. Willie Lee Prince, Mr. Johnnie (Susie) Prince, Mr. Oscar Lee (Bernice) Prince, Mr. Sampson Prince, Mr. David (Mary) Prince, Mr. Ernest (Barbara Jean) Prince, Mr. James (Barbara L.) Prince; seven daughters, Ms. Betty Sue (Anno, Sr). Harris, Mrs. Retha (John) Dowdell, Mrs. DeLois (Karl) Wilson, Ms. Dorothy Jean Queenie, Ms. Barbara Ann (John Arthur ) Boone, Ms. Anna (Rev. Marcelious) Willis and Ms. Mattie Mae (Nathaniel) Edge; one brother, Mr. Ellis (Carrie) Prince; 51 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends survive.
