Cecilia R. Doleysh, age 80, of 2706 33rd St., Two Rivers, died Tuesday afternoon, June 1, 2004 at Sunny Ridge Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Sheboygan. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2004 at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O'Brien with burial to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc. Cecilia was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Rose Schuh Vogel. She attended Manitowoc Lincoln High School graduating with the class of 1941. On Oct. 11, 1947, Cecilia married Clarence Doleysh at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw. She was the Manitowoc County Dairy Queen in 1941. Cecilia worked for the Rahr Malting Company for many years. She enjoyed playing sheepshead with her family, crocheting, reading, fishing and spending time at the Clark Lake cottage in Door County. Cecilia also enjoyed the "Monday Morning Coffee Club." Survivors include her husband: Clarence (Chubby), Two Rivers; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Joan and Greg Fell, Hagerstown, Md.; Sue Kintopf, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Kathy and Michael Ziereis, Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Robert and Stephanie Fell; Michelle and Christina Kintopf; Brandon and Danielle Hubbartt; Jacob Ziereis; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Genrose Krippner, Cato; Mary Ann and Victor Zipperer, Manitowoc; five brothers: Hilary and Elaine Vogel, California; Stanley and Lorraine Vogel, Manitowoc; Frank and Marriane Vogel, Denmark; Marcellus and JoAnn Vogel, Cato; Conrad and Betty Vogel, Two Rivers; four sisters-in-law: Esther Wessely, Kewaunee; Julia Johnson, Two Rivers; Winnifred and Roland Schmeichel, Two Rivers; Beverly and Frank Hlinak, Maribel; two brothers-in-law: Wenzel and Mildred Doleysh, Mishicot; and Wilfred and Eunice Doleysh, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one grandchild: Greg Kintopf; two brothers; Raymond and Marcus Vogel; one sister-in-law: Helen Vogel; three sisters-in-law: Leona Doerfler, Helen Plansky and Dorothy Nimmer. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, Holy Redeemer Site from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the Doleysh family with funeral arrangements.
