He was born on February 1, 1928 in Springfield, the son of Stanley (Bill) Sr. and Lillian Irwin Adams. He married Barbara Jean Young in 1950 and after their divorce, married M. Carolyn Corlas Pierson on February 21, 1975.
Stanley graduated from Feitshans High School and Springfield Junior College. He was a member of the VFW. He worked at Pillsbury, Mayron Meats and retired as owner/manager of Knox Knolls Amoco Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Adams of Springfield; three daughters, Victoria, Cathy and Terri three sons, Rick, Michael and Seth, two sisters, Linda and Julie.
Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
