My Mom, my best friend and confidant. I will miss her more than words can ever say or write. I could tell Mom anything. I know she's in a better place. Alzheimer's took Mom away from all of us back in 2006. She passed away one day before my first grandchild and her second great-grandchild was born.

My Mom was always there for anyone who needed help. She would sew clothes for people who needed them. She was a special angel. Worked hard to take care of those who needed her. I miss her enthusiasm, her love, her zest for life.

Betty was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 14, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Harry R. and Willetta Coburn Woods.

Betty was a talented artist who enjoyed painting both oil paintings and watercolors. She was an avid bridge player, accomplished pianist and a seamstress who could make anything.

I love you Mom. I miss you so much. I have no one to talk to like I talked to you. I know you're in a better place.
