INJURIES RESULT IN DEATH AT BARKSDALE
R. G. Adkins died this morning at his home near Barksdale, from the effects of an injury received several days ago. He had been working at Brooks loading lumber when he was hurt by a man falling from the top of a box car down on his head and neck, causing a dislocation of the head and back for which he never gained any relief.
He leaves a wife and two children besides several brothers and sisters, Walter and Silas of this city being brothers.
The funeral and interment will take place Wednesday afternoon near his home place.
