Glenn H. Hagberg, age 97, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at his residence.
Glenn was born on Feb. 4, 1911, in Bayfield to the late John and Hulda Holmlund Hagberg. He graduated from Bayfield High School in 1929, and then went on to study dairy science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. On Feb. 22, 1936, Glenn married Elsa Newman in St. Paul, Minn. Elsa preceded him in death on April 3, 2001. Glenn was first employed with Libby's Milk Company in Morrison, Ill. In 1945, he came to Manitowoc and was employed with White House Milk Company until he retired as plant manager in 1975. Glenn was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manitowoc, where he served as past president of the church council along with other office positions.

A private memorial service is scheduled for a later date, and entombment will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with arrangements.
