Mrs. Clara M. Herrmann, age 86, a resident of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, died Tuesday morning, December 16, 1997, at the Center.
Clara was born June 19, 1911, in the town of Franklin, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Emil and Barbara (née Dufeck) Slager.
She married Clarence Herrmann on September 11, 1928 at Kellnersville. He preceded her in death on July 6, 198.
Clara was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Holy Innocents Christian Women, and a pats member of the Branch Homemakers Club.
Survivors include one son, Herbert (Dorothy) Herrmann, ranch; four grandchildren, Gerald (Nancy) Herrmann, Thomas (Barbara) Herrmann, all of rural Manitowoc, Diane Zingler, Green Bay, Beverly Herrmann, Germantown, Wis.; one sister, Mayme Nate, Manitowoc; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Edwin, Michael, and Louis Slager.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, December 18, 1997, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be followed by entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
