Mrs. Horace Caldwell, residing near Pilot Mound, died on Monday afternoon at 4:20 o'clock from the results of an injury received a few weeks ago by jumping from a carriage. The deceased was a young woman of nineteen years and was married on March 14. This is a hard blow to the young husband. She was a daughter of Marshall Cartwright, who resides in Colorado. the funeral was held on tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock and the remains laid to rest in the Linn cemetery near Pilot Mound.
