Miss Annie L. Burrell, 89, who lived alone at East End, Nittany Valley many years, died at 2:20 a.m. yesterday at Susque View Home. She had been a guest at Susque View since last September.
Miss Burrell was born at Salona R.D., one of ten children--seven boys and three girls--in the family of Samuel P. and Charlotte Snyder Burrell. Her brother, former County Commissioner S. Clyde Burrell, of Salona, is now the last surviving member of this family.
As a young woman she had attended Salona Methodist Church.
BURRELL -- Private funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the McCloskey Funeral Home, Mill Hall, for Miss Annie L. Burrell, 89, of Salona R.D., who died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 1959, at Susque View Home. The Rev. Ray E. Jones, Salona Lutheran minister, will officiate. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
