Gail Marie Davenport was born November 17, 1933, on the family farm just south of Macomb in Pottawatomie County. She was the youngest child of Martin Luther Davenport and Mary Lee Pike.

Gail married John C. Adams (known by family as 'J.C.') on March 24, 1915 at Tecumseh, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. They had two children, a son and a daughter.

Gail Marie Davenport Adams died peacefully January 8, 2013 in Grapevine, TX in the company of her children. Gail was born November 17, 1933 in Pottawatomie County. She grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Bishop John Carroll School and graduated in 1952 from "Catholic High" Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School.

Gail was married to John C. Adams, Jr. for 33 years until his death in 1989. She retired from Fleming Foods in 1994 where she was a payroll accountant.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She is survived by her daughter Teresa and her husband Steve and granddaughter Megan, her son Richard, Bill Moeller, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gail was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, followed by a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm at Smith and Kernke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 11, at 10:00 am at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations in the name Gail M. Adams to the National Kidney Foundation.
