Cecil was born May 18, 1914 in Nuremberg,Pa. And passed away April 30, 2010 in Hurst,Tx. He was the seventh of nine children born to Henry and Daisy Lindenmuth. Cecil enlisted in the Air Force and served for four years
and seven months. He met Laverne, during his military service, and they were married in Midland, Tx, in 1942. Lindy moved to Grand Prairie in 1953 with his wife and child Nancy. He joined Indian Hills Baptist Church in 1955.
He was recognized as a deacon by his congregation soon afterward and has served in several capacities. Lindy's testimony was always that the Lord was so good to him and he was thankful to God for His blessings upon his life. He was preceded in death by his wife Laverne, 8 brothers, and son Cecil Eugene, Jr. He is survived by Nancy Cunningham & husband Terry; 2 grandchildren Debbie Cunningham and Brain Cunningham & wife Margie; 2 great-grandchildren Aidan Cunningham and Ainsley Cunningham; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
