Funeral services for Larry D. Moore, 71, of Hornbeck, Louisiana were Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Hornbeck, Revs. Jerry Key, Jack Bell officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Larry, the son of Olen & Ollie Moore, was born October 1, 1941, in Monroe, La. He passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013, in Alexandria, La.

Mr. Moore was retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves. He worked for 37 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Fort Polk. Larry loved to travel in his R.V, and pass his time doing woodworking. He was a wonderful family man who loved with all of his heart and never met a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone in any way he could.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by His Parents; and One Sister Melba Jessup.

Larry is survived by: His Wife of Hornbeck; Children: tgwo son; one daughter of Memphis, Tn; Four Brothers; One Sister of Leesville, La.; Three Grandchildren.

Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
