Melba Ann Moore Jessup, 57, of Many, died April 17, 2002, at LSU Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., April 20, at Trinity Baptist Church, with interment following at Ft. Jesup Cemetery. The Rev. Truman Leach, and the Rev. H. H. Tibbetts officiated.
Survivors include husband, James Jessup of Many; two sons, Bryan D. Jessup of Many, and James W. "Billy" Jessup of Ft. Jesup; sister, Debra L. Phillips and husband Clarence of Leesville; five brothers, Benny T. Moore and wife Betty of Pascagoula, Miss., Larry D. Moore and wife Winnie of Hornbeck, Oscar R. Moore and wife Betty Fae of Holloway, John E. Moore and wife Vicki of Hornbeck, and Michael W. Moore and wife Pat of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
