  Mrs. Dorothy E. Schlemer, 56, of Pocahontas, died at 5:20 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland. She had been ill for some time.
  Mrs. Schlemer was born May 20, 1919, in Fort Russell Township, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Mary Brave Schaefer.
  She was married to Raymond W. Schlemer on June 27, 1946, at Eden Church in Edwardsville. Her husband survives.
  Also surviving are sisters Mrs. Irma Langendorf and Mrs. Ardell Lange both of Edwardsville, sons Ronald Schlemer of Appaloosa, Md., and Kenneth Schlemer and James Schlemer of Pocahontas, and a daughter Tina Schlemer, also of Pocahontas.
  She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ of Alhambra.
  Friends may call at the Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Arnold Biser officiating.
  Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gene Bardelmeier, Joe Biscan, Robert Brave, Gerald Langendorf, John Schaefer and Robert Schaefer.
