Irene E. Kotchi, age 94, a resident of 620 Reed Ave., Manitowoc, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning, April 28, 2005, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Irene was born January 16, 1911, in the town of Newton to the late Herman and Anna (née Boeckmann) Carstens. On December 29, 1934, she married Stanley C. Kotchi in the town of Newton. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1986.
Irene was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. Manitowoc.
Survivors include a daughter: Phyllis (Curtis) Koepp of Manitowoc; a granddaughter: Susan (Dr. Bradley) Jorgensen of Sherwood; two great-grandsons: Bryan and Brett Jorgensen, also of Sherwood; and a sister: Norma (Donald) Erikson of Oahu Island, Hawaii; also other relatives and many dear friends included.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister: Hertha Alfson Trefz in 1996.
Private family services at Knollwood Chapel will be held at a later date. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center of Manitowoc assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
