Frank J. Kozlowski, age 78, of 9420 Sunrise Lane, Two Rivers, died peacefully early on Sunday morning, Feb. 24, 2008, at his residence, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born on June 14, 1929, in Two Rivers, son of the late Frank Sr. and Antoinette (Kotarek) Kozlowski. He attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School and Washington High School, Two Rivers, graduating with the class of 1948. He furthered his education for one year at the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc, and one year at the Milwaukee School of Printing. On Jan. 27, 1951, he married Mary Glesner at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Frank worked for Hamilton Industries for 20 years, and later worked at Eggers Industries for 25 years, retiring in 1991. He was a sports enthusiast, and enjoyed playing many years with various softball leagues, including the over 40 "oldtimers" league; various bowling leagues; and participated in the golf and horseshoe leagues in Two Rivers. He also enjoyed watching all sports, and especially loved the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He enjoyed watching old westerns and above all, enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and attending their many events. He was a former member of St. Joe's Athletic Club, and former member of St. Luke's Holy Name, presently the men of St. Peter the Fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Clarence (Irma) Glesner; four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Leonard (Dorothy) Koslowski, John (Margaret) Kozlowski, Don (Lenore) Kozlowski, and Martin Kozlowski; and two brothers-in-law: Harold Glesner and Daryl Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William G. O'Brien, with entombment to follow at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church after 9 a.m. on Wednesday until the time of mass at 10:30 a.m. There will be no visitation this evening. Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Kozlowski family with funeral arrangements.
The Kozlowski family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Diaz, the staff of Aurora Medical Center Internsive Care Unit, and Holy Family Hospice, especially Susie Kornely, for all the wonderful care and compassion given to Frank.
