Esther A. Krizizke, age 88, a resident of Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, died on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Esther was born on June 12, 1919, in Two Creeks, daughter of the late William and Lillian (Zierzow) Geerdts. On Sept. 17, 1949, she married Thomas S. Krizizke at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1971. Esther was an avid Brewers fan, loved playing Sheepshead, and enjoyed the activities at the Hamilton Home. She was a former member of the Two Rivers Senior Center, and a long-time member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.

She was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law: Gertrude and Frederick Saubert.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2008, at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Arndt, with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the many compassionate caretakers who have been so helpful to Esther both at the Hamilton Memorial Home and the Aurora Medical Center; and a special thank you to her physician, Dr. Andrea Carroll.
