Born September 28, 1922 in Joliet, IL to the late Harry and Ella (nee Macier) Adams. Veteran of the Unites States Marines, having served during WWII. Retired from the Carpenters Union Local #174 and Local #916. Member of the VFW Post #5422 in Wilmington, IL. Surviving are two sons, Harry James (Connie) Adams and Nick (Cindy) Adams, both of Braidwood, IL; two grandchildren, Todd Adams and Vittoria Adams; one sister, Frances Halpin of South Wilmington, IL.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Phyllis Ann (nee Lewis); one daughter, Crystal Lee Kincheloe; one brother, Chuck Adams; and one sister, Gladys Waters.
Graveside services with military honor's will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Thompson officiating.
