A resident of Erie most of his life, he was born in Homer City, Pa., Feb 6, 1927, a son of the late Gilbert Stiles and the late Nettie Starry Stiles Goodwill.
Mr. Stiles was a machine operator at Pyramid Industries over the past year and previously worked for a number of yrs. at Perry Plastics Co.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his widow, Ruby J. Wiley Stiles, two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Beverly) Barnett of Beaufort, S.C. and Vicki Stiles, two sons, James of Erie, and Charles of Beaufort, N.C,, a brother Harold Stiles of Erie, and two sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Vernie) McGrath of Clymer, N.Y., and Mrs Robert (Alberta) Blystone of Blairsville,Pa.
