Actress, Comedienne. She is probably best remembered for her association with film director Mack Sennett, having been one of his famous bathing beauties. Her film career spanned from 1915 until 1941, and during this time she appeared in almost 120 silent and sound films and shorts, of which her roles went mostly uncredited after 1933. Her longest stint was for producer Al Christie (1919 to 1927), often appearing as leading lady opposite actor Bobby Vernon. Her film credits include "Those College Girls" (1915), "The Surf Girl" (1916), "Luke And The Mermaids" (1916), "His Naughty Thought" (1917), "Secrets Of A Beauty Parlour" (1917), "An International Sneak" (1917), "Ladies First" (1918), "His Smothered Love" (1918), "Her Blighted Love" (1918), "A Rustic Romeo" (1919), "Why Wild Men Go Wild" (1920), "Bucking Broadway" (1922), "Pardon My Glove" (1922), "Hold Everything" (1923), "Savage Love" (1924), "My Swedie" (1925), and "Dancing Daddy" (1926). She died at the age of 66. She was a sister to actor Monte Steadman.
