Mae Belle Logan, 77, of 1231 S. 32nd Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday, August 18, 1991, at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay, Wis. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral hOme and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum.
She was born April 15, 1914, in Frankfort, Mich., daughter of the late Edward and Mamie Raymond Steinberg.
She married James E. Logan on September 5, 1933, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1964. The couple owned and operated a tavern in Osman, Wis., when they moved to Manitowoc in 1955.
She was then employed as a beautician in the Manitowoc area for many years until her retirement. She was also a member of Daughters of Isabella of Manitowoc.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kent and Anna Mae Logan of Plymouth, Wis., Gary Logan of Manitowoc; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Harriet and Gilbert Neuser of Manitowoc, Evelyn and Clarence Gehrke of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Nelson and Thelma Steinberg of Florida; grandchildren, Laura, Dan, Mark, Steve, Kelli, and Robert; and great grandchildren, Stephanie Ann and Fauna Lee.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. led by Rev. Roman Zbieranski.
