Major League Baseball Player. A native of Parkville, Missouri, he broke into the Major Leagues at the age of twenty-two playing five seasons for the Philadelphia Quakers, Philadelphia Athletics, Detroit Wolverines, Pittsburgh Alleghenys and Kansas City Cowboys. Playing mostly the catcher’s position he hit for a .192 batting average, scoring forty-nine runs and batting in thirty two runs.
