Amelia Moore, daughter of John B. Moore and Sarah H. Bowman, was born March 5, 1841 in Sprigg, Ohio and died April 8, 1929 in Ashland, Nebraska. She married Nicholas Clemmons Winter on December 4, 1862 in Page County, Iowa. Survived by seven children, Ed, George, Earl, of Wilcox, Canada, Nettie Morley of Yorktown, and Mrs. R. A. King of Genoa, Nebraska. Three children are now dead, a son Chester, who died in infancy and a daughter, Mrs. Sarah E. Morley, first wife of F. C. Morley, and Ed.
