Martha Fiedler – Mrs. Martha Fiedler, 77, of 530 Calumet Avenue, Kiel, died October 2nd at her home.

The former Martha Riehn was born January 18th, 1902, in Germany, daughter of Herman and Hulda Rehn Riehn. She came to Kiel as a child and later the family moved to Rhine Center, where she attended district school.
On December 26th, 1922, she married Walter Fiedler of the Town of Meeme. The couple farmed in the town until 1960, when they moved to School Hill. Mr. Fiedler died June 8th, 1968.

Mrs. Fiedler then moved to Kiel, where she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Harold Perronne
She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel.

Besides her daughter, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edward Reineck and Mrs. Esther Doro, both of Kiel. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral services were held Thursday at St. Peter United Church of Christ. The Reverend John Baumann, pastor, officiated. Burial was in St. James Cemetery, Spring Valley.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Fiedler’s name.
