Hubert was a native of the Town of Meeme, he was born April 26, 1892, a son of the late Edmund and Amanda Koellmer Kolb and married the former Helen Stuebs of DePere Aug. 1, 1931. She survives along with a son, Sheldon, on the home farm; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Melba) Pfister of Sheboygan, Mabel and Mildred at home; one grandchild and three brothers, Alvin of Edwards, Elmer of Cleveland and Edwin of Milwaukee. Two brothers also preceded him in death.
