HERBERT SIXEL

Herbert G. Sixel, 67, of R. 1, Newton, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon while visiting near Howards Grove. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

He was born Jan. 30, 1905, in the Town of Meeme, Manitowoc County, son of the late Peter and Anna Fiedler SIxel. He attended district schools in the township.
For 35 years he was employed by and resided with Mr. and the late Mrs. Ewald Olm in the Town of Meeme. In recent years, he made his home with his brother, Arthur, of Rt. 1, Newton. He never married.
For five years prior to his retirement two years ago, he was employed at Kohler Co.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ervin Truttschel, Sheboygan, and another brother, Gilbert, R. 1., Cleveland.
Mr. Sixel was a member of St. James United Church of Christ in Spring Valley, where services will be held at 2 pm. Thursday. The Rev. Robert Meyer, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
