PETER SIXEL

Peter Sixel, 70, Meeme farmer, died Tuesday afternoon at the farm home a mile north of Edwards, following a lingering illness.
He was born in Mosel, Sheboygan county in 1874 and in 1903 married Miss Anna Fiedler. They located on the present homestead. For 29 years he was a member of the consistory of the St. James Evangelical Reformed church of Meeme.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Herbert of Meeme, Arthur of Centerville, Gilbert on the home farm; daughter, Mrs. Ervin Truttschel of Mosel; four brothers, George, Otto and Christopf of Mosel, and Herman of Meeme; two sisters, Mrs. Anna VanDoske of Mosel, Mrs. Katherine Wolters of Meeme; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Sixel home and at 2 o'clock at the St. James Evangelical and Reformed church, with interment in the church cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Sixel home. The casket will not be opened in church.
