MARIANNE GEIMER
Mrs. Jake Geimer, 63, a resident at the Tannery, Two Rivers route 2, for many years, died this morning after suffering a stroke.
Funeral services will be held at Two Rivers Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the Jansky funeral home and at 9 o'clock from St. Luke's Catholic church with the Very Rev. Dean C.V. Hugo officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery.
Mrs. Geimer, nee Marianne Gagnon, was born at Two Rivers Aug. 22, 1877 and spent her entire life in Manitowoc county. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gagnon. She was married on June 16, 1896. For many years she was an active member of the Altar society of St. Luke's church.
Survivors are the widower; seven daughters, Mrs. Edward Grimm of Two Rivers, Mrs. Louis Kortas of Manitowoc, Mrs. Harold Roehl of Janesville, Sister M. Candida of Menominee, Mich., Mrs. A. N. Perry, Mrs. Phil Hansen and Miss Grace Geimer, all of New York city; four sons, Urban of Two Rivers, Martin and William of New York city, and Albert at home; one sister, Mrs. William Taddy, of Two Rivers; two brothers, Joseph Gagnon of Two Rivers and Edward Gagnon of Blackstone, Mass. and 16 grand-children.
The body may be viewed at the Jansky funeral home until the time of the funeral and the rosary will be recited there at 8 p.m. Friday.
