ARLENE PANOSH

Arlene E. Panosh, age 85, of 2314 34th St., Two Rivers, died on Sunday evening, April 13, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Arlene was born on July 15, 1922, in West Kewaunee, daughter of the late William and Ella (Feeger) Kuehl. She graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1938.

On Jan. 25, 1941, she married Emery A. Panosh in Marinette. He preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1985. Arlene and Emery owned and operated Panosh Market in Kewaunee from 1941 to 1956. The couple then moved to Two Rivers and she was employed as a nursing assistant at the Hamilton Home until her retirement in 1984.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Edna, Ruth and Eva; one brother: Edwin; and a son-in-law: Greg Bergman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Presiding at the service will be the Rev. Kay Richter, with entombment to follow at Knollwood Chapel and Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home from 5 until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday morning at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

We will remember Arlene as a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and we will all miss her very much.
