Panosh, Albert "Gino"

Albert "Gino" Panosh, age 73, of 211 Maple Street Whitelaw, died Friday, July 17, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Gino was born on September 16, 1941 in Kewaunee, son of the late Emery and Arlene (Kuehl) Panosh. He was a graduate of Two Rivers High School in 1960. While playing football in High School he was awarded the most valuable player of his team. In 1961 he graduated from Barber School in Peoria, IL. Gino owned and operated Gino's Hair Styling in Branch from 1961 until the present. He was a well respected drummer and recorded music for the legendary Chess Records of Chicago in the 1960's. Gino served in the United States Army Reserves as a Drill Sergeant First Class from 1966 until 1974. On September 9, 1967 Gino was married to Bonnie Staudinger at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clark Mills.

Gino was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw, past member of the Whitelaw Lions Club and a past member of the Manitowoc Musician's Union. His love was for his family, great music, sports, fishing, fine food and the U.S. military.

Survivors include his wife: Bonnie Panosh, Whitelaw; his 3 children and their spouses: Craig (Barb) Panosh, Two Rivers; Tracy (Jeff) Summit, Milwaukee; Spencer (Angela) Panosh, Cleveland; 5 grandchildren: Nicole Panosh and her special friend: Dallas Chambers; Amaya Tremain; Colton Panosh; Brody Panosh; Sawyer Panosh; 1 brother and sister-in-law: Emery (Gloria) Panosh, Eagan, MN; 4 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law: Don Stutzman, Two Rivers; Sandy (Jim) Brost, Cleveland; Bob Staudinger, Baraboo, and his special friend: Grace Horn; Tim (Kim) Staudinger, Eagan, MN; 1 special nephew: Kevin Brost, Fort Atkinson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Emery and Arlene Panosh; 1 sister: Gwen Stuztman.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. Dave Beaudry will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
