Elmer Reif, 46, Dies on Friday. Funeral services to be held Tuesday.
Stratford - (Special) - Elmer John Reif, 46, route 3, Stratford, a resident of this vicinity all his life, died at 9:50 PM Friday at ST Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Death was caused from complications of ailments. He had been in poor health the past two years.
Funeral services will be held at 9AM Tuesday at ST Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. The body will repose at the Rembs Funeral Home from Sunday afternoon to the time of services. A general rosary service in which the Holy Name men will participate, is scheduled for 8PM Monday.
Mr. Reif was born March 31, 1905, at Rozellville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Reif. He received his education there and on Jan. 26, 1937, he was married to the former Marie Ponczoch.
He is survived by his wife, seven children, Donald, Delores, John, Mildred, Janet, Gerold and Ervin...
