IDA BARR SMITH, wife of Esten A. Smith, 3632 Elm street, Baltimore, died at the Guilford Nursing Home, Boonsboro, Monday morning at 8 o'clock of complications after an illness of one year, aged 81 years.
Born and reared at Breathedsville, she was the daughter of Cullen and Catherine (Doub) Barr. She had resided in Baltimore until two weeks ago. She was a member of the Otterbein Evangelical United Brethren Church, Baltimore.
Besides her husband she is survived by sisters, Mrs. Charles Grove and Mrs. Bruce Zeller, both of this city, and several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the funeral home of A. K. Coffman where services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with the Rev. Lavely Gruber of Baltimore officiating. Interment in the Chewsville cemetery, Chewsville, Md.
