Burr Oak: William A Mingus 77 yrs old died 5/28/1911 at the home of his brother Alexander Mingus, of Burr Oak Twp., Mr. Mingus was ill for a short time and death came as the result of gangrene of his leg.
Mr Mingus was born 10/17/1833 in Salt Creek Twp, Muskingum, Ohio a son of William E and Hannah (Lewis) Mingus. On 1/11/1860 he married Cynthis Ann Vore in Morgan Co, Ohio. She died 1/4/1875. Surviving is a daughter Lola, of Burr Oak Twp. and two sons Josephus Mingus of Athens Co, Ohio and Perley B Mingus of Morgan Co, Ohio
Mr Mingus was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Arminta J Parmiter . Funeral Services are pending at this time. Burial will be made in Oaklawn Cemetery Sturgis Michigan
