GLOUSTER--Joe Mingus, age 89, died at his home on Greens Run, Saturday morning following a short illness. He had spent his entire life in this locality. His wife, Augusta, and five children, preceded him in death.
He is survived by four sons, Louis and Arch of Greens Run, Edward of Chauncey, and William of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Leffler, Greens Run, and Mrs. Ella Dentley, Chauncey, one sister, Mrs. John Hosington of Bethel Ridge, 35 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Mingus home, with the Rev. A. G. Winkle in charge. Burial was made at the Taylor Ridge Cemetery.
