Theresa Beatrice Buechel, age 81 of New Holstein, died on March 30, 2005 at Willowdale nursing home.

She was born on July 13, 1923 in the Town of Charlestown, daughter of the late William and Mary (Schirmer) Heimann. She married Alphonse Buechel on Oct. 30, 1945 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Charlestown. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2001.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho, a member of the Christian Mothers, the Catholic Knights, and the VFW Auxiliary. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, baking, quilting, and volunteering at the Salvitorian Center in New Holstein.

She is survived by six children; Margaret (Bill) Feider of New Holstein, Paul (Patricia) Buechel of Malone, Patricia (John) Basler of Chilton, Donna (Allen) Karls of Chilton, Martin (Artie) Buechel of New Holstein and Alan (Amy) Buechel of West Bend; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Hildegarde Geiser of Chilton, Rosemary (Linus) Woelfel of New Holstein, Dolores (Leo) Krebsbach of Green Bay and Germane (Art) Koehler of Ariz.; two brothers-in-law, Hilary Gebhart of Chilton and Alfred Geiser of Chilton; and a sister-in-law, Marie Heimann of Kiel. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Joseph and Clarence Heimann; three sisters, Agnes Schmitz, Clarrisa Gebhart, and Angela Mathes; and brothers and sisters-in-law; Victor Geiser, Harold Schmitz, Harvey Mathes and Louise Heimann.Theresa Buechel
