Koehler, Germaine (Mae) (Heimann)

Germaine (Mae) Agatha (Heimann) Koehler age 84, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2015, with loved ones by her side.

She was born January 27, 1931, to the late William and Mary Heimann, and grew up on the family farm in Charlestown, WI. Germaine married Arthur Koehler on July 7, 1955, and they spent 60 loving years together, 30 of which were on their farm in Seymour. After retiring they moved to Kingman, Arizona, in 1994.

Mae was a strong Christian woman who loved God and her family with all her heart. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and most of all baking for her family. She had a passion for the community where she volunteered frequently.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Koehler; and their children, Stan (Peggy) Koehler, Arizona; Steven (Paula) Koehler, Appleton; Glen (Robin) Koehler, Kaukauna; Jeffrey (Grace) Koehler, Oneida; Rita (Dan) Bucholtz, Dale; grandchildren: Anthony, Amber, Kristy, Craig, Tracy, Kyle, Eric, Amy, Jennifer, Linda, Jason, Melissa, Alex, and Ashley; and nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hildegard Geiser, Rosemary Woelfel, Delores Krebsbach.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents, son, Timmy, and granddaughter, Abbey; two brothers, Joseph Heimann, Clarence Heimann; and four sisters, Agnes Schmitz, Angeline Mathes, Therese Buechel, Clarissa Gebhart.

The funeral Service for Germaine will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday May 30, 2015, at St. Nicholas Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom, with Deacon Gary Vanness officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 8 a.m. until the time of the service. Germaine will be laid to rest in the St. Nicolas cemetery.

Mom/Grandma we will always remember your contagious laugh and wonderful cinnamon rolls. We will miss you dearly.

A special thank you goes out to Stan, Peg and family for all the loving care and time you have given to care for our parents.
